It depends on what you’re bringing into the therapy room that day. I meet you where you are and we’ll decide together what we want to focus on in each session. I offer a balance between holding space for the ‘week to week’ stuff and having structure so that you’re seeing progress and reaching your therapy goals.
If we’re doing trauma work, you can expect that I will help pace the work so that you do not become overwhelmed or re-traumatized. I don’t expect you to share your entire history with me until we’ve built rapport and you feel ready. You’ll be offered options at every step along the way. Our sessions might begin and end with grounding and containment exercises to create a buffer between the therapy session and the rest of your week.

Therapy is an investment in yourself. As such, you’ll see the biggest return on that investment when you commit to making changes in your life outside of our sessions together. I want to see you succeed and ultimately my goal is that you will be able to ‘graduate’ from therapy and keep your momentum going (and send me email updates of all the positive things happening in your life!).
Research shows us that healing happens in community, so part of our work will involve finding ways to build healthy, safe connections with others for lifelong healing that goes beyond the therapy office.

My fee for a 50-60 minute therapy session is $170. I manage billing myself, so you can expect transparency and ease of communication for any billing questions or concerns.
I’m in the process of getting in network with Anthem— check back for updates.
